Song 23: Gallery Hotel Circus

Gallery Hotel Circus is a song about the big top and fleas. I’m recording my red japanese guitar acoustically, I’m thinking of giving it a name.

Lyrics now available.

French toast is flying from the toaster like a sugary bat from hell
I like mine a little warmer but I can’t expect that from hell
This morning seems excessive lost in foggy hats
She should’ve just stayed asleep, but she shot up and spat out

The circus is in town
The circus is in town
The circus is in town
And all the fleas are coming too

I asked her, “How come?” and she kissed me on the chin
I don’t know who’s the ringleader or what circle I’m in
I was about the get upset from the lack of information
But I just turned off the set and joined the celebration

The circus is in town
The circus is in town
The circus is in town
And the fleas are coming too

Get your top hat off the hook and rip out a new red suit
Shine on your white tipped cane and your blackest brown toed boot
Crack the whip and tame the cat and buy yourself a barrel of fun
Beat the drum and count to four and buy yourself a slapstick gun

One, Two, the circus is in town
The circus is in town
The circus is in town
And all the fleas are coming too

The circus is in town
The circus is in town
The circus is in town
And all the fleas are coming too

Three, four, can’t take it anymore
Three, four, can’t take it anymore
Three, four, can’t take it anymore
Three, four
